Well Machined have recently set up a new division called Well Wrapped.
Wrapping is the process of covering a Machine Tool with vinyl panels to give it a whole new image. Not only does it change the colour of the Machine but a vinyl wrap can help towards protecting the paintwork from minor abrasions too.
A wrap will completely cover your Machine, protecting it from scratches, chips and other minor abrasions caused by general wear and tear.
If any part of the wrap does become damaged then that section of vinyl can simply be replaced, even at short notice.
How Does The Machine Wrapping Process Work?
If you are thinking about giving your Machine a wrap then there are a few simple steps in the process:
- Tell us the make and model of your machine and the transformation or type of wrap you have in mind
- We'll ask a few questions about the machine to make sure it's suitable for a vinyl wrap and provide you with a fast, free, no obligation quote so you know what your wrapping costs will be as well as an estimate of how long the process will take.
- The time it takes depends on the size of your machine and the type of wrap you've chosen.
Wrapping can increase the value of your machine
After a machine has been wrapped, your original paintwork will be protected. This means that for the next three years without causing any day-to-day damage to the paint. Of course, when you remove the wrap, your machine returns to its original finish. This ensures the paintwork will have fewer scratches and marks than other machines from the same year. We can apply a wrap to second hand machines to give them a new lease of life or to new machines to instantly give a different look and add extra protection. Wrapping is also a great alternative to individual graphics when promoting your business.
The timescales range from a few hours for a part-wrap to a week for a complicated wrap.
